Ailsa Wallace
As Head of Fundraising & Communications, Ailsa is responsible for overseeing all fundraising activity within Capability Scotland as well as internal and external communications.
After completing an MA(Hons) in Psychology and an MSc in Research, Ailsa went on to pursue a career in sales, marketing, and events. This was the catalyst to her introduction to fundraising; in 2016 she joined Macmillan Cancer Support where she managed community fundraising activity throughout Angus, Tayside, Perth, and Perthshire.
In 2018 she joined the University of Dundee as Senior Development Officer-Major Gifts; responsible for fundraising across the university’s priority projects, working with donors in the UK as well as internationally. Latterly she led the development of the Ninewells Cancer Campaign, collaborating with colleagues across the University of Dundee and NHS Tayside.
Ailsa is passionate about the work of Capability Scotland and believes that fundraising activity supports colleagues across operational services to provide the exemplary care and support that enables the individuals we support to realise their potential and reach their goals.
