Clare McCarron
Clare has a BA in Legal Studies (Distinction), which paved the way for her to follow her dream of becoming a teacher and she graduated from Glasgow University in 2005 with a Post Graduate Certificate in Primary Education. Clare worked within North Lanarkshire Council in a variety of roles in Education before moving to a lead role in 2019 within a school for children with severe and complex needs. Throughout Clare’s career, she has thrived on developing as a teaching professional at all levels and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and skills to enhance all aspects of the Corseford School Community. Clare joined Corseford School in October 2021 as Head Teacher and is confident that all of her experiences led her here. She is proud to have such a key position within Capability Scotland, an organisation renowned for its commitment to enhancing the lives of those with disabilities, something very close to her heart.
