We are seeking experienced social care professionals to join our Day Centre and Community Outreach services in Perth. If you are passionate about supporting adults with complex disabilities and want to make a real difference in their lives, we would love to hear from you.
About the Role:
Our Support Workers love working between the variety of settings our services have on offer. Assisting adults with complex disabilities to enjoy our purpose-built hub setting, which offers; sensory, kitchen and craft spaces with access to idyllic grounds and amazing facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, rebound therapy an accessible gym. This includes support with medication, personal intimate care and mealtimes.
In addition to working in the day centre, you will also support our customers in the wider community through our Community Outreach services. You will enable people to live independently in their own homes and participate in community life, offering support with personal care, medication, and social activities.

What You Need:
We’re looking for candidates with demonstratable experience in the following:
- Past work history in day centres or one-on-one community adult care support, including supporting individuals with Autism, Acquired Brain/Spinal Injuries, Epilepsy, or Cerebral Palsy.
- Enabling people to achieve daily goals and engaging in activities like arts, crafts, and hobbies.
- Developing person-centered plans and maintaining records, including risk assessments.
- Providing personal care and supporting with medication.
- Experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) aids or Makaton is a plus.
- A valid driving license is required, as some roles may involve driving our customers adapted manual vehicles.
We are especially interested in hearing from individuals with a passion or special skill to share, such as playing an instrument, baking, ICT or arts and crafts. Your enthusiasm will inspire the people you support and offer them new experiences while they learn valuable new skills.
Hours: We offer 18, 25 & 30 hour contracts. ***Please note we are unable to offer skilled worker sponsorship, please do not apply if you require this. There are no exceptions, as we do not meet the required criteria***
Location: Our day centre is based at the Upper Springland Campus, Isla Road, Perth, PH2 7HQ and Outreach services are in central Perth and surrounding areas in customers own homes & wider community.
