Personal Assistant

A Personal Assistant is required to support and assist a gentleman in his mid-40’s who is based in the Broomhill/New Abbey Road area of Dumfries. He has a passion for music and is known for dropping a beat. He has recently completed an HND in photography and enjoys building RC cars. He loves driving and getting out about he is easy to get along with and always looking to learn something new.

This gentleman would like someone who is creative and caring and will encourage and support him to live as independently as possible. He needs help with personal care and assistance with some day-to-day tasks, meal prep and help with shopping may also be required.  

Working with this gentleman:

• £12 per hour 
• 14 hours per week 
• Clean Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
• It is desirable that applicants have had previous experience in adult support services or care services, however, specific training can be sourced if the successful applicant has no previous experience of working in adult support services.
• Post is subject to a satisfactory PVG.
