Personal Assistant

Are you a compassionate individual who has what it takes to make a difference to people's lives? Can you make every minute matter to me?

I am a young 90-year-old lady who lives in the Dumfries area and I am looking for a personal assistant, who must have a miniumum 1 year experience in dementia care, to support me with my morning and bedtime routines. I need you to be patient and compassionate, as I like to take my time getting ready. You will be required to help with my personal care and assist me with my medication.

I like to play dominoes in the evening and chat with a cup of tea and a biscuit before bedtime.

I need you to be able to work 3 hours on a Wednesday & Thursday and 3 hours every second weekend. This is mornings 7/8am start and evenings working hours to be confirmed. The rate of pay is £12 per hour.

It is essential that you have a full UK driving license with access to a vehicle, due to my location.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is essential for taking up this appointment.
