 My name is Benjamin and I live in New Abbey with my husband. I am looking to recruit a second Personal Assistant (PA), possibly on a short-term basis until the end of 2025 but this will be discussed in detail with you and my first PA later in the year.  Due to unreliable public transport, your own car is essential unless you live in New Abbey village itself. I use a wheelchair and other mobility aids and require some support to move around my home.  I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and being assisted to explore my village.  I am looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, who has a good sense of humour and who can be adaptable/flexible, to support me with personal care, meals, medication and mobility.  Experience not required as training can be provided but I’d prefer someone with some knowledge of the LGBTQ+ community if possible.  Usual hours will be around 4 per week, to be negotiated.  Hourly rate will be £12/hour with paid annual leave of 5.6 weeks pro rata. PVG and references required.
