Corseford's Pocket Garden

Developing outdoor learning is one of our priorities at Corseford School and our Teachers and Learners had to look at innovative ways to do this. Jodie Sahota, our Teacher, worked with the learners and her class team to submit a design to the Keep Scotland Beautiful: Pocket Garden competition.

Our design was a winner and we are now working on creating the pocket garden. The focus for this competition was sustainability and we will use upcycled furniture and pallets. Lindsey Davis, our Care Practitioner, has sketched an illustration of the pupil’s ideas – isn’t it fantastic?
