Edinburgh Holiday Hub
Our Holiday Hub provides school holiday care and support for disabled young people aged between 5 – 16 years. Based between Kaimes and St Crispin’s Schools we work in partnership with Edinburgh Council to provide up to 20 places a day for children and young people during their school holidays to take part in a number of activities such as arts and crafts, baking, outdoor play and games, trips in the community including swimming, country parks and a number of local attractions. The hub runs Monday – Thursday between 9am – 3pm.
Our Staff
Our staff members have completed a rigorous programme of training and each of them has an updated Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) background check.
Staff are trained in a range of topics to meet the needs of our young people, including Child Protection and Safeguarding, Moving and Assisting People, Health and Safety, and Equality and Diversity, to name a few topics.
Staff are also fully trained in the administration of emergency medication where there is a need for this – all of this means you can rest assured that your young person is in the safest hands.
